I love Delia's Irish Whiskey Christmas cake and have made it dozens of times for formal occasions like weddings. However, I always find that it is difficult to cut neat slices for serving - it tends to crumble. Any suggestions to make it firmer.
Not really a question - just wanted to say what a good idea to remind us of Delia's summer recipes. It has encouraged me to revisit the recipe book! I am also enjoying the downloaded TV series for its original broadcast.
Can I substitute gluten free flour in Delia's Dark Jamaican Gingerbread, please? I make the gingerbread all the time and I've had a request for a gluten free version. I help run a Drop In room for older people and it's very popular, and a much admired recipe.
