Hello.I am interested in this traybake. I feel 14oz sugar is a huge amount. Do you think it will work if I at least halve that?

I’m not familiar with any recipe of these proportions and I can’t work out what is in the topping and what goes in the cake.
But yes I agree that is a lot of sugar.

hello. This has a shortbread base, which is cooked first then the rest of the ing. make up the topping. I an starting to thing it is a misprint..........I made it with 6 oz sugar and it was very tasty, Thank you very much@
