Hot Cross buns not rising!

Hi Lindsey
Just made a batch of Delia's hot cross buns they don't seem to have risen. Left them for a couple of extra rising time no joy. Checked date of yeast well within date. Any ideas would be grateful .

Hello Cathy,
It may be that the dough was a little dry – either not enough liquid added to the form the dough or too much flour used to shape it.
