Hot Cross buns failed
Hi, today, for the first time ever, the recipe from delia failed. Up until now Delia's recipes were reliable. I could follow the instructions and bake at the specified temperature for the specified time. Hot cross buns were not the case. The mixture appeared very wet through out. Shaping was impossible as the drought stuck to everything! Then finally when cooked for the required time appear rather overdone. Any suggestions as to where I went wrong? I used the online recipe rather than from a book.
