Homemade Strawberry Jelly

Dear Lindsey,
I am aware that it's not possible to set pineapple in jelly, but I have just tried to set strawberries in a strawberry puree using a commercial strawberry jellly and it hasn't worked. Would it be successful using gelatine, or would the result be the same?
