help! I have just made the spiced pickled pears, unfortunately I over-reduced the liquid in the pan to around 10fl oz instead of 15-it just covers the pears-will they be ok?

Hello,
I would pour the syrup back into the pan (or into a clean pan) then add 10fl oz of water to it, bring it up to the boil and then simmer for 5 minutes, check that its syrupy, if it isn’t give it a little longer, then use it to cover the pears.
