Heating steamed treacle pudding

I have used your recipe for a steam treacle pudding and it's in freezer.
I will be giving it to someone as a alternate to Christmas pudding
I wanted to know if they will be able to thaw and reheat in a microwave.

Steaming is always preferable but defrosted and cautiously heated in the microwave on a busy day will be fine. Better to give it several short spurts and a medium temperature than to blast it on high and spoil it.
