

Hi Lindsey, I have found it a little disappointing that when I put in to the search box Gluten free ie scones, I get 4 types of scone but they aren't gluten free. Why is that? I have read them and they don't even mention an alternative option. Kay

That’s because the search box picks up on each word, so when you put in gluten-free scone you get any recipe that includes the word gluten and/or free and/or scone.
We do not have a specifically gluten-free scone recipe. We tested them when we worked on the cake book, just replacing the flour and baking powder with GF flour and baking powder. They need more liquid as GF flour absorbs more. The results are fairly good but they really need to be eaten the same day.
