I made the Jamaican Ginger cake yesterday, it tastes amazing, but didn’t rise, I am coeliac and used GF flour, any hints what I can do to make it rise, the taste is lovely so pleased with that. Thank you.

Being gluten free shouldn’t make any difference. Is it possible that you used more than ½ teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda? Too much causes a fast rise which can collapse in the oven.
