Getting ahead with the trifle

Hi. I would like to know how far in advance the Traditional English Trifle can be made and kept chilled for, before serving.

Hello,
It will keep well, covered in the fridge made 2 – 3 days ahead. Add the nuts just before serving.
You can still eat the trifle for a couple of days beyond that but it won’t be as special.
