Getting Ahead with Spiced, Sauteed Red Cabbage with Cranberries
Asked on 11 Dec 2017 by Joodles6375
Hi - is the red cabbage with cranberries freezable? (& can I use dried cranberries or does it need to be fresh?)
Many thanks

Hello,
Yes you can freeze it for up to 3 months.
We like to cook for half the time then chill, freeze and store in a lidded container in the fridge. Then cook on the day for another hour, either in the oven or on the hob.
If you want to get even more ahead you can cook it completely before you freeze it.

Defrost overnight in the fridge.
