Getting ahead with Chocolate Prune and Armagnac Cake
Asked on 13 Jul 2022 by Jinglis
Hi,
Is Delia's chocolate, prune and Armagnac cake a suitable recipe for making 48hr ahead or is it better eaten on the day the cake is baked?
Thanks,
Jennifer

Hello Jennifer,
This cake is lovely and moist so yes, it is suitable to make 48 hours ahead.
It also freezes very well.
Kind regards
Lindsey

Thanks so much for the advice. As you said the cake was lovely and moist and kept well. Texture and taste were great even on day 3 though there wasn't much left by then!!
