

Help Lindsey. I'm having family for a Sunday lunch in the near future and I'm struggling to find a main course that's not spicy and that I can cook ahead, ie the day before, so I can be part of the gathering and not worn to a frazzle in the kitchen. My guests are plain foodies
Would a roast work if it was cooked the day before and reheated on the day in gravy?

We wouldn’t reheat a roast.
Perhaps a wet dish, something that is served cold or something that is prepared in advanced and simply cooked when needed.

Confit of Duck with Port and Sour Cherry Sauce
Braised Steak in Madeira
