Hello Marie,
Scone mixture contains raising agent, which starts to react as soon as the liquid is added so it needs to be cooked shortly after it is shaped. We bake and freeze scones. I understand that it’s possible to make and freeze scones before they are baked and then bake them from frozen, but I haven’t tried it myself.
