I’ve been making Delia’s lovely traditional bread sauce for quite a while now, but this year I would like to freeze it beforehand. Is it suitable for freezing and if so, is there anything I should leave out but add afterwards

Yes you can freeze it ahead of Christmas without the 2 tablespoons of cream.
Defrost overnight in the fridge.
Re-heat gently, and then add the cream and it may need a splash of milk as well if it seems a bit too thick.
