What cheese would you suggest as a substitute for goats cheese/feta in a receipe?
It depends on what recipe you are doing. Are there any particular recipes that you would like substitutes for?
For instance in tarts, quiches etc where it will be cooked. Mozzarella isn't
as tasty and cheddar might be too strong. The crumbly texture of feta/goats
cheese is also difficult to replicate. I was wondering whether white Leicester
cheese would work? In salads too, I don't know what to substitute.
I would use Cheshire, Caerphilly, Tomme, Double Gloucester or Kirkham’s Lancashire.
