I have made two classic Christmas cakes one I will be iced nearer Christmas the other has been dressed with almonds. Both look amazing and I am feeding them with brandy and as recommended. Keeping both covered in parchment foil and stored in air tight containers. How often should I feed the cakes with brandy and once cut should I continue to feed?

Your cakes sound amazing!
We ‘feed’ an 8 inch cake with 2 - 3 teaspoons about 6 times so between 60 and 100mls in all.
We do not feed the cake after decorating or slicing.
