Hello Lindsey,
After over 20 years of making Delia's traditional Christmas cake, this year we have made the creole Christmas cake, and it looks and smells delicious.
Just a couple of queries. Presumably with all the alcohol in at the start, this cake will not require feeding with brandy. I also assume that this can have marzipan and royal iced top and sides as with the traditional cake.
Regards
Alan

Hello Alan,
You don’t need to feed a creole cake but as all the alcohol is cooked out, we do about 3 or 4 times. It’s personal preference. The feeding does make the cake moister and obviously gives it a kick.
Yes, you can marzipan and ice a Creole Cake.
Best wishes
Lindsey
