

Hi, can I ask why the method for making Delia's classic christmas cake has changed?. I have always made it using the creaming butter and sugar method and adding eggs a little at a time. It is long and winded, and this new method seems a lot easier. I wondered why it's changed.

The original creaming method can be followed for purists with the time and inclination.
