Doubling Bread recipes

Hello. Delia’s white and wholemeal bread recipes. Can they doubled to make a larger loaf please. Also would proving take considerably longer.

Doubling these recipes is possible. They won’t take much longer to rise but it will take longer to bake.

Delia’s recipes are always foolproof and I have been referring to her books for over 40 years. During Lockdown I have also kept my sanity by trying out new recipes and revisiting old ones.
