Delia's Cookery DVD's

Hello, Delia and Lindsey. We have seen a number of DVDs of Delia's recipes from different television series being offered. Our question to you is: are these the actual television programs showing Delia cooking (which we would prefer) or are they recipes and instructions from the cookbook or featured series? We enjoy watching the shows online and would like to purchase them. Can you please provide some information on what is contained on the various DVDs.

Unfortunately, the BBC only released one official compilation of Delia's television programmes on DVD 'The Ultimate Delia'. This is a cut-down version of some of the recipes from the How to Cook television series from the 90s. Summer, Winter and the original Christmas series were released on video. Anything else you may come across will not be official. A separate media company released Delia's Classic Christmas on DVD in 2011 but this sadly is no longer available.
A few years ago the BBC moved a selection of Delia's TV series online - to purchase through the download to own service. However, the BBC Store project did not take off and these were removed. Currently the only series available to download to own is the original 90s Christmas series. More details here:
