I want to make the lemon and lime refrigerator cake but can’t get double cream where I live. What can I use as a substitute? Mascarpone or Creme fraiche? Or something else?

Crème fraîche doesn’t whisk as well as double cream but I think for this recipe it’s the better choice between the two.
