Cooking the mincemeat
I have just measured out all the ingredients for Delia’s cranberry mincemeat and have covered the bowl to leave the flavours to develop for 12 hours. I have the ingredients in a Mason Cash ceramic bowl (my largest bowl). I am not sure if it is ovenproof but I doubt that it is. My Pyrex bowl is not large enough for all the ingredients. Would it be ok to bake the ingredients for three hours in a deep stainless steel roasting dish please. Thank you.
