I made Delia's chocolate cheesecake.......but yesterday when we came to eat it.....the plate it was sat on ended up with what looked like a pool of oil. I kept to the recipe the only thing I did different was to put on the base of the tin a baking parchment circle............have you any idea what caused this please. Did not look very appetizing.

We’re not aware of any problems with this recipe. It could be that the heat was too high when you melted the chocolate or perhaps your oven is running too high. If your using a fan setting you need to reduce Delia’s oven temperatures by 20 degrees.
