Can't get Barley Wine!

Is there a substatute for "Barley wine", when makeing the Delia Christmas Pudding?
Since I like making my "Pudding's, early in the year, & feed them each month, through to Christmas, when needed.

Hello Paul,
You could use Fullers 1845 strong ale.
You only need the barley wine when you make the pudding mixture – no need to ‘feed’ a pudding.
