Sultana cake cooking time for 23" tin, with 5 eggs, recipe says 1 1/2 hours. That seems way to fast. Is there a "rule of thumb " ?

I don’t think that is a Delia recipe so it’s not really possible to answer your question accurately as I do not know the full recipe or the oven temperature, but I’d say the higher the proportion of fruit the longer the cooking time.
