my mum was born on a farm 1903.....they had to bake their own bread..had no electricity. of course...and I remember being told they made their "yeast" from potato peelings...............how I do not know....maybe they let them ferment?

Not right now....I am 85 and three weeks back fell 1.5 mtre off the porch and broke three ribs in my back.....just home from hospital/rehab this week UGH!!!!!!!!!!!
