Beef and oven settings

I see many instructions for cooking Beef but most do not mention whether there are temperatures for a normal oven or fan oven, what is the best for rare and what type of oven

Hello,

You can use any oven setting to cook beef but all of Delia’s electric oven settings are for conventional heat so if your following one of Delia’s recipes and using a fan oven you will need to reduce the temperature by 20 degrees.
