I have just made Delia's Apricot Oat Slices, followed recipe to the letter, but they are dreadfully crumbly and almost impossible to cut, don't seem to have bound at all. What have I done wrong?!

Hello,
Firstly, this can be a bit crumbly. To make sure it holds together you need to be press it down very firmly.
Also it helps if the chopped apricots are the soft eating variety so that they feel a bit squidgy when they are chopped.
Lastly, when the weather is warm it can help to leave them longer before you cut them so the butter has time to set and helps hold them together.
I hope that helps.
Best wishes

Thankyou, maybe I was a bit gentle when pressing down and it is very warm weather, Idid cut them quite soon as wanted to taste them! The apricots were very squidgy, so got that bit right!
