Amount of egg in Classic Christmas Cake

I am going to make the classic Christmas cake and have bought the eggs which vary a lot in weight between 75-90g(large)
should I be aiming for approx. total weight 225mg like a Victoria sponge? please advise thanks

For 4 large eggs I would use 280g – 290g of beaten egg.
