My question is about the Winter Vegetable Pie with a Parmesan Crust. Looking through the Method on how to make the Pie there seems to be an error with the pastry, namely after sifting the flour and salt then adding the vegetable fat and butter. Its the next part I do not understand - using only fingertips, lightly and gently rub the fat into the parmesan - is this in a separate bowl ? or should I have added the parmesan to the mixture ?

Hello,
Yes I see there is a little bit missing.
It should say…
To make the pastry, first sieve the flour with a pinch of salt into a large bowl, holding the sieve up high to give it a good airing. Then add the vegetable fat and butter, and using only your fingertips lightly and gently rub the fat into the flour. When everything is crumbly, add the parmesan and then sprinkle in some cold water – about 1 tablespoon.
I’ll ask for it to be updated.
Thanks for letting us know.
