Family dispute! Making marmalade, do you use the lemon only for its juice, not to include in the jam itself?
Well you all all right!
You can use the lemon skin in the recipe exactly as you use the oranges.
Or use lemon juice with the orange juice and add all the lemon pips and membrane to the orange pips and membrane in the muslin bag.
Our preference is only to use the orange peel but either way you do need the lemon juice, pips and membrane.
