About the Grasmere Ginger Shortbread

Hello Lindsey, I want to make the Grasmere Ginger Shortbread which was online a couple of weeks ago. I could only get medium oatmeal not the fine one. What do you think, will it be ok to substitute it with medium ?

I’m going to say probably. It may be crumblier but it will still taste good.
Parkin is lovely if you have any remaining medium oatmeal.
