About the depth of the 18cm Sandwich Cake Tin

Hi,
I’ve just bought a Silverwood sponge tin, loose bottom, 18 cms.
The depth is measuring 3 1/2 cms though. I’m a bit confused. Is this tin deep enough?

The Delia Online tin that I have is 4.5cm deep.
Does your tin have the Delia Online stamp on the base?

No, the tins do not have the stamp on the bottom.
The lady in the shop said that the collaboration tins had ended and they are now making them without the Delia online branding. I think I will return those tins to the stockist and buy the correct ones online directly from Silverwood?

Silverwood/Delia Online range is very much active and available from Silverwood direct (as well as through a number of stores).
