About the Apricot Oat Slices
Hi. I made the apricot oat slices the other day and they just crumbled in my hand into a million bits. I had pressed all the layers down quite hard. It was still tasty though. Anyway I the recipe says “150g block butter” I thought it sounded strange and maybe it meant 250g block of butter? I remade the recipe with the 250g butter and it held together much butter but subsequently it was quite greasy. I remember eating these as a kid and I’m desperate to get it right but I’m failing miserably. Can you help?
