About Delia's oven poached pears
I would like to try Delia’s poached pears but I need clarification of the covered casserole dish used to bake the peeled pears.
1)Should the covered baking dish be large enough to allow eight pears to be lie flat on their sides in the bottom of the dish?
2)Will there be enough liquid (Marsala) to ensure that all sides of the eight pears will be covered in Marsala while they bake?
3)Is there a video available showing how the pears look as they are placed in the casserole dish, and into the oven?
I have poached pears on stove top but have not poached in the oven. I look forward to making these gorgeous pears with your help.
