

I have made Delia’s Creole cake many times and it is delicious and our favourite. However we have become vegan since last Christmas. Have you heard of anyone trying to Veganise the cake with egg substitutes eg aquafaba, chia or flax seeds? Or do you have any ideas for egg replacements? Thank you in anticipation.

I’m so sorry we haven’t tested any of Delia’s Cakes with egg substitutes so we cannot advise on this particular one.
But you could adapt a trusted vegan Christmas cake recipe using the fruits, nuts, spices and alcohols that Delia uses in her recipe.
