I always take my own reading matter - not much of a magazine reader anyway so it'll be new to me , no matter how out of date. If ever I do dip into one in a waiting room I'm bound to be called just as I get to the interesting bit!!

I always save my mags and then take them to the hospital and leave them as and when I need to go, so that someone else gets the benefit. Hope that doesn't sound too irritatingly virtuous!

Funny thing Susan, I have just come back from the Diabetic Clinic, where there were no mags at all! Spent an hour and a half staring at the wall..Only things on offer to read were boring leaflets about giving up smoking..
Did see the top man today though who is very pleased with my weight loss..
See my eye man next week..funny how appointments come in threes ..

Had a Bone Density Scan last week and they had current magazines - so surprised I checked and they all had stickers from same company that supplies current magazines to my hairdresser. Could it be because this is also a private clinic as well as NHS?
