Just wanted to tell everyone about the great day I had yesterday...
Daughter and I went to a Kitchen Dealer that we supply and they held a Neff cookery demonstration using the new Neff steam oven as well as the normal circotherm....absolutely great.....the Neff demonstrator cooked....roast pork and pots with steamed vegs, (in steam oven, pork absolutely moist inside and crispy outside) small puff pastry cases filled with caramelized onions, eggs, cream and topped with cheese, marinated chicken and a satay sauce, meringue pavlova filled with strawberries and mango (never thought this would work but it did and was absolutely delish), chocolate muffins (in steam oven) very light and yummy, marinated salmon teriyaki (sp) again in steam oven, so moist....and finally another demonstrator made choc brownies (circo oven and very gooey).....tried everything so did not eat a lot last night....
and to top it all, we entered a draw for a beautiful set of saucepans (4 to the value of about £120.00) and guess who won?? I was delighted, only prob now is do I keep them or give them to daughter for her new home....

Many years ago I had a short bout of doing competitions and won lots of things I didn't want. Gave them to charity shops.
Well done Dolly. Now do the decent thing and keep them for yourself :0))))), only if you like them !
Sorry, in a slightly flippant mood, just got in from the garden and my bright ginger hair is not sitting well over my hot red face :0( that'll teach me to look in a mirror.
Dolly, I owe apologies to those I usually communicate with. I have not been on-line much myself and just pop in on here so people know I'm still about. The 'office' should be completed and up and running before the end of the month so I will be able to get to the 'pooter' more regularly.
Lovely to hear you had a super day and many congrats on the win. Are the pans in a colour suitable for your daughter's kitchen???
Biggs :0)))))))
Hi Biggs,
Must admit with this weather, I've been out a lot more and not sitting at the pooter....do miss our e-mails at mo...but will speak soon....
daughter has yet again changed her mind.....the latest is she now wants a painted kitchen rather than wood and the colour at the moment is Nomadic Glow, a sort of capuccino but more pinky...with walnut carcase and black granite worktops....and not sure whether to have hi-gloss or matt....and yes she wants all s/steel accessories so yes Biggs, saucepans would def go...but I do like them very much and might just take your advice and keep them....
we went to KB's yesterday on the way back from Harleston and chose her patio slabs....anad
went out last weekend and purchased a sofa and new bed so have started choosing furniture but she does not get a lot of time during the week so seems it has to be weekends for shopping at mo...but we will get there...will send you some photos soon....
Try toning hair with some auburn or blonde....but I'm sure it will settle....

Dolly, you well deserve the win. You`re so generous, it`s nice for you to get something as a gift. The saucepans sound fantastic. Whether your daughter gets them, or you keep them yourself, they`ll have a good home.
Our cooker has almost given up, so we`re on the lookout for a new one, but I guess the steam extra costs a fortune. It certainly sounds great. Couldn`t believe what you`d sampled yesterday, but I`m sure you enjoyed every min of it.
crumbs :-)
Hi Crumbs,
You are very kind....not sure about price of oven but smaller than normal oven so needs a bit of thinking about....go for a Neff circotherm with self-cleaning...
yesterday was great and I did enjoy it very much...
years ago Crumbs, when we were in retail, I used to do the cookery demos in the showroom and thought nothing of it, but now it is so different....there you go, change again....
Am def going to meet up with you....looks like I need to plan another trip to beautiful Ireland to meet up.....
