Re: lakeland violet petal conserve

Hello, I had a catalogue from lakeland posted through my door yesterday and it includes a violet petal conserve. The description suggests using it as a glaze on duck, which sounds interesting. Has anyone tried this and does anyone have any recipes to use it, either with duck or anything else for that matter? It is £6.99 which sounds a lot, is that a fair price or does anyone sell it cheaper? Thanks.

that looks gorgeous stuff, do let us know what it's like -
I think it would be good on duck. You can't say it's overpriced for such an obviously hand-made product.
I can smell the violets from here :-)))
