I GOT A PROBLEM WHENEVER i MAKE THE CHICKEN BASQUE FROM DELIA'S SUMMER COLLECTION. THE RICE NEVER COOKS PROPERLY. i MAKE PERFECT RICE BUT SOMETHING ALWAYS GO WRONG WHEN I make this one. why wont it work for me. Is it something to dop with having to much fat In the pot when I'm mixing it up? please help

My problem is that the rice gets too cooked even if I cook the chicken quite well before I add the rice. I don't know if the problem is the rice I use....... otherwise lovely recipe! I have tried in the oven and on the hob.
