I have quite a few friends coming round for a casual supper so I thought I'd have a few one pots to put tin the freezer. has anyone ever frozen Delia's Chiken Basque (the original one)? it's a great dish.

Agreed, it's def one of my top ten Delia dishes.

I have frozen it before and it comes out okay but not as good. It's good for me as supper by myself when Mr FW is out but I wouldn't serve it to guests. If you know what I mean!

I love this dish too but I have never frozen it. I don't see why it wouldn't be just as good..... my problem with it is that the rice always becomes too soggy, no idea why! But then I have that problem with any rice with chicken, either in the oven or on the top. I do cook the chicken longer on its own so that the rice doesn't need to cook too long but still the same happens. Other than that I always make delicious rice!
