I write a poem every day ,
Some days it's two , or three,
In one hand I have a pencil ,
In the other one , a mug of tea.

I used to put poems on the site ,
Almost every day ,
Poetry fascinates me ,
With words I like to play.

I felt folk on here had had enough ,
I thought it was time to stop,
So down the pad , & pencil went ,
For the site I shut up shop.

I still write poems every day ,
And with ease I talk in rhyme,
Happy , or sad poems I can write ,
No better way to spend my time.

I still look in from time to time,
And I read what others write ,
Best wishes to you , one , & all ,
Now it's time I said goodnight ,

Hello, Anastasia, I don't think we "talked" before . I'm Amelia, from Lisbon, Portugal, and just want to congratulate you and your poetry. Though I only started posting recently, I've been coming to the site and reading the discussions for a long time, and remember your lovely poems, somehow you always managed to come up with a poem for every situation. It seems to come so naturally, it's a gift !
Have you ever considered publishing your work?
