This has to be the easiest and tastiest meal ever.
All ages seem to like it at the family get together we did yesterday. I doubled the mixture and it worked fine. The easiest sunday dinner, i have ever done but so flavoursome. Still cant believe there are only 4 ingredients!!

I agree Helen - i love this recipe!
And it's not cheating at all - just simple!
Nice to know that doubling up worked alright too - always useful to know. Thanks

hi 18kari, that might work fine as there are so few ingredients there is not a lot to go wrong, the lamb i bought was from tesco. It came in amounts of 400g so i had to order two lots to make the recipe. you could always just use one pack, but i think as so often is the case its the fat that makes it tasty in this particular cut of meat. Generally i like lamb as its easier to cook with than beef, easier to get a tender result. good luck, let us know how you get on!

Oh definitely spoil yourself with this yummy recipe! I think the great thing about Delia is that she gives such super friendly advice in an accessible way, but she would not mind if your Mum wasn't keen on this one, she would laugh and just have another great suggestion! Put your feet up whilst its cooking and enjoy!

why halve the recipe...I bet your mum would actually really love it she just tried it..... and you can always freeze any leftovers, and either defrost in fridge all day, or cook gently from frozen in oven or on the hob!

might i suggest you make saffy greek roasted potatoes to serve with it...they are divine, sounds like a lot of oil...but honestly.....its fabulous!!!
