Not food related, but I loved this little site: www.pylones.com. It's a French company with several stores in Paris, selling small gifts (from 4 euros per). Great for little thank you gifts you give throughout the year, and fab stocking fillers for young people (and for moi, I love fun stuff like this!). I made an order on Tuesday and it arrived (in Madrid) this morning - card holders, ice scrapers (I couldn't resist, they're so gorgeous, will now hide away for Christmas presents and hope to remember where I stashed them!), little handbag mirrors (my daughter swiped one as soon as we opened the box), big luggage tags. They throw in free gift wrap and stickers, too. I found the shipping cost a bit pricey, so it's worth making a biggish order - or waiting for a trip to Paris :))

Oh, I love it, jam! Just my sort of thing. I'm going to make a list of people I give presents to and send for an order. Everybody seems to have everything they need, these days, so something offbeat but useful is just the ticket! Thank you for finding that! xxxBroomstick

What a fun site. Love it. A beautifully designed piece of artwork as well. Sent it on to my son, who designs these sort of things.

Bad idea ... I've just found a green monkey bracelet that I'm sure I'll get the use of at some black tie event ... ! Says me living in the middle of rural SW France in my jogging bottoms and an old t-shirt ... I'll probably find loads of times when I can wear it with style !!!
