Vegetarian feasting

Vegetarian cooking has moved on so much in the past few years, and with more choice and recipes availalable, you no longer have to serve up a nut cutlet. 

PLEASE NOTE:  true vegetarians don't eat meat, fish or shellfish, if you are cooking for someone else and are unsure it's always good to check with them first, as some people claim to be vegetarian but eat fish and shellfish.  Please also be aware that some cheeses, like Parmesan, are not suitable for vegetarians, so choose vegetarian-friendly versions of the cheeses in these recipes, like the 'Parmesan style' Twineham Grange cheese available from Bookhams.com.  Similarly, where Worcestershire sauce is used, make sure to choose one that has been made without anchovies when cooking for vegetarians.  If you need any further clarification please visit The Vegetarian Society for more information
