Method
Begin by deseeding the chilli (if using a whole one), discarding the fiery seeds and chopping the red part finely.
Next stir the onion, green pepper and garlic into the fat remaining in the pan and cook gently until softened (about 10 minutes).
This is very good with buttered noodles or creamy mashed potato.
