Menu of the month for January
It's a lean month - at least in monetary terms! So indulge with this lovely menu for 4 that won't break the bank. It's an object lesson in how using ingredients that are in season allows you to spend less than you would by buying expensive imported food at this time of year.
Starter
| We think Italian Fontina cheese, which has a melting creaminess, is the best to use in this soup, but if it's hard to find, Gruyère is equally good. |
Main course
