Favourite Delia Online recipe winner for March
Tell us which recipe you make time and time again, and you could win a Delia Online egg timer.
All you need to do is email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, tell us your story the title of the recipe, which must be published on the site, and we will pick our favourite each month.
Our first egg timer winner is Liz Telford – otherwise known as Liz from Cumbria on our forum.
Her favourite Delia Online recipe is Beef in Barolo with Parmesan Mash.
Although Liz has several Delia Online favourites, this is the one she goes to when she wants an impressive, extremely tasty, dinner with friends, as this is one dish, which doesn't involve a lot of faffing about.
Liz says “Real Barolo is getting more expensive but Delia very nicely pointed out that using the same variety of grape would make it a cheaper option. Personally, I don't mind the outlay for Barolo now and again, it really adds to the taste but I have used a cheaper alternative and it's still good”.
Now retired, Liz has many interests including embroidery, crochet, music, wine (especially chugging it!), and visiting Delia Online, where is an extremely active poster on the forums.
She has a great and varied selection of recipes in her own profile, ranging from Cheese Fondue, Italiano Chicken and Rice Bake to My Grandmother’s Cumbrian Tatie-Pot.
