Larger orders of crème de marron and marron glacés can be purchased from www.clementfaugier.fr this is useful if you are planning to make several recipes. There is a carriage charge but if you are ordering several items the lower product cost can make it really worthwhile. They have a variety of boxed Marron Glace which can be really good Christmas gifts. When making recipes where the Marron Glace will be chopped we use what they call “large broken” or “Cracks” (shattered) which are as the name suggests Marron Glace that are no longer whole but they are considerably cheaper. If you do not read French enter Clement Faugier on an internet search engine and press the translate button. Deliveries do take up to 10 days.
